Red in Circle Marks International Women’s Day at Baabda Women’s Prison

Red in Circle marked International Women’s Day with a visit to Baabda Women’s Prison, supporting 101 women through essential assistance, including gas, psychological support, and music therapy, while promoting dignity, compassion, and second chances.

Red in Circle (RIC) volunteers wearing red gilets support women through a humanitarian initiative at Baabda Women’s Prison. The visit brought together essential aid, psychological support, and music therapy, promoting dignity, compassion, inclusion, and hope for a new beginning.

In recognition of International Women’s Day, Red in Circle (RIC) President Nesrine El Hosni, accompanied by members of the association, visited Baabda Women’s Prison to support 101 women through a humanitarian initiative focused on essential needs, psychological well-being, and human connection.

The association provided essential assistance, including gas, to help improve the women’s daily living conditions and reaffirm their right to dignity, care, and respect.

Recognizing the importance of emotional support, RIC also organized a discussion session led by a psychological therapist, offering participants a safe space to express their feelings and share their experiences.

A dedicated music therapy session allowed the women to explore their emotions, connect with others, and experience music as a source of expression and hope.

Through this initiative, Red in Circle reaffirmed its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and promoting inclusion, compassion, and second chances.

Every woman deserves dignity, every voice deserves to be heard, and every person deserves the opportunity for a new beginning.
