As part of its humanitarian mission and commitment to promoting the values of solidarity and social cohesion, Red in Circle organized a visit to the city of Tyre on October 24, 2026. Rich in history and religious and cultural heritage, the city provided the setting for an initiative aimed at engaging with its residents, learning more about the local community, and fostering a spirit of compassion and solidarity through practical, meaningful action.

The visit included tours of several religious and educational institutions, as well as historical landmarks across the city, including the Melkite Greek Catholic Archdiocese, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, and Saint Maron Qadmus School. The delegation also explored the religious and historical landmarks of Tyre’s Christian Quarter, highlighting the city’s rich cultural heritage and the importance of preserving its diverse identity.

The initiative provided an important opportunity for direct engagement with the local community, as the association distributed food parcels to 150 beneficiary families, reaffirming its commitment to supporting families and strengthening the values of mutual assistance and community solidarity, particularly amid challenging living conditions. The visit was attended by retired Brigadier General Johnny Khalaf and Tyre’s Mukhtar, Youssef Barbour. The initiative was warmly welcomed and appreciated for its humanitarian spirit and its efforts to strengthen community ties and translate the values of love and solidarity into tangible impact.

In this context, Red in Circle expressed its appreciation to the supporters and partners who contribute to advancing its humanitarian mission, reaffirming its commitment to continuing initiatives that promote solidarity and social responsibility. Through responding to humanitarian needs and strengthening engagement with local communities, the association remains guided by its belief that sustainable humanitarian action is rooted in respect for human dignity, the provision of essential support, and the transformation of compassion and mutual assistance into lasting, meaningful impact.

Red in Circle continues its efforts to foster a culture of giving and solidarity, driven by its belief that genuine humanitarian work goes beyond providing assistance. It also means being present alongside people, listening to their needs, and contributing to the development of stronger, more cohesive communities built on mutual support.
