On Saturday, April 25, 2026, Red in Circle (RIC) organized a humanitarian and spiritual gathering at Liqaa Center in Rabweh, bringing together approximately 450 displaced families, representing nearly 1,000 people, from villages and towns across Southern Lebanon.

Held amid challenging circumstances, the initiative aimed to provide essential assistance, strengthen community solidarity, and offer families a space for prayer, compassion, and hope.

Faith, Solidarity, and Community Support

The gathering began with a Holy Mass celebrated by Father Charbel Youssef, offered for peace and the safety and stability of Southern Lebanon. Following the Mass, Red in Circle President Nesrine El Hosni addressed the participants, highlighting the importance of humanitarian solidarity and collective responsibility.

The event also provided families with an opportunity to connect, share their experiences, and find reassurance within a supportive community.

Medical Care and Psychological Support

Recognizing the importance of comprehensive humanitarian assistance, Red in Circle arranged free medical consultations, psychological support from specialists, and guidance on accessing medications. These services addressed families’ physical and emotional needs during displacement.

A “Meal of Love” and Humanitarian Assistance

A shared “Meal of Love” brought families together, promoting compassion, dignity, belonging, and human connection. At the conclusion of the gathering, humanitarian aid packages were distributed to help ease the financial and daily living challenges faced by displaced families.
